Refund policy

At DIY Crafts India, every product is crafted and shipped with care to spark creativity and joy. Since most of our products are made to order, we follow a transparent return, refund, and cancellation policy to ensure fairness for our customers while protecting the integrity of our handmade and customized items.

Returns & Exchanges

To qualify for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • You must raise a return request within 48 hours of receiving your order by emailing us at connect@diycraftsindia.com.
  • Products must be unused, in their original packaging, with labels and tags intact.
  • An unboxing video or images must be provided to verify damages, defects, or incorrect items.
  • Returns will only be accepted after the product has been received at our warehouse and has passed the quality check.
  • Once your return is approved, pickup will be arranged within 4–7 working days.

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed only for damaged, defective, or wrong products.
  • Refunds are issued after inspection and approval and will be credited to the original payment method within 10–14 working days. Please note that banks or card issuers may take additional time to reflect the amount.
  • In cases of wrong address entry, non-acceptance, or failed delivery attempts, refunds will be processed after deduction of to & fro shipping charges and a processing fee.
  • Refunds for personalized or custom-made products are not applicable.

Replacements

  • If you choose a replacement instead of a refund, the new product will be dispatched within 7 working days of approval.
  • Replacements are offered at no extra cost in case of damages, defects, or incorrect items.
  • For size, color, or design change requests (non-personalized items), return shipping charges and applicable deductions (packaging & processing costs) will be borne by the buyer.

Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 5 hours of placing the order, provided they have not been processed or shipped.
  • Cancellations for personalized or custom-made products are not allowed once production has started.
  • If an order is cancelled after processing or shipping, deductions for shipping, packaging (5%), and processing (up to 35% of the order value) will apply before issuing the refund.
  • DIY Crafts India reserves the right to cancel any order if it cannot be fulfilled due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided within a reasonable time.

Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

  • Personalized or custom-made products
  • Sale items, gift cards, and promotional bundles
  • Perishable, personal-care, or hazardous goods
